New York can lead the way

If you’re reading this, it’s because you know what’s at stake. If New York follows through on the promise of the Build Public Renewables Act, we’ll become a climate and green jobs model that not even Trump can stop from spreading.

But that’s only going to happen if we can build the mass pressure against Kathy Hochul and her Republican appointee Justin Driscoll to revise their terrible plan, and commit to building 15 Gigawatts of public renewables, before January 31st.

And that’s only going to happen if our first-ever fundraiser hits our $18,000 goal, and gives us the public power to take our biggest stand yet.

Our small donor fundraising is going strong, but the less time we have to spend raising money to reach our goal, the more time we can spend putting that money to use rapidly scale up everything from our viral video efforts, to our statewide organizing reach, to even potential legal support.

We passed the first statewide Green New Deal law in the country without asking for a cent. So imagine what we can do with more resources. And then please, become a Gigadonor so we can find out.
