The statewide Public Power Coalition is kicking off a week of action across New York State with events from Syracuse to Rochester.
On Thursday morning here in New York City, we’ll rally outside of National Grid’s headquarters in downtown Brooklyn with our comrades who have put their bodies on the line to shut down the North Brooklyn Pipeline.
For-profit corporations like National Grid building fracked gas pipelines off the backs of the working class have no place in our energy future. Rally with us to tell Governor Cuomo and the New York State legislature we need 100% renewable energy — publicly owned and democratically controlled — and a Green New Deal for New York.
Join us in-person in downtown Brooklyn at 1 Metrotech Center. Bring a mask, a sign, and get ready to make noise!
